Lovely Cabin - Great Location

We spent a wonderful week in Gatlinburg at Bear Feet Cabin. The location is great- close to everything but away from the congestion in town. The cabin is spacious, clean and has many amenities. The hot tub on the lower deck was wonderful. It was a nice surprise to find that the community pool is open til Oct. 1st and is only a very short walk from Bear Feet. The cabin is located in a resort community so the cabins are close together but there was still plenty of privacy. After more than 30 years visiting Gatlinburg this was the first trip where we never went into town. We used the bypass to get into the park every day and found so many great places to eat on Hwy 321 that we never felt the need to go into town. Geno's pizza was excellent and it was nice to find that they delivered to the cabin the first night we arrived since we were tired after the trip. A Taste of Italy, The Alamo and El Sonador are all restaurants I would recommend, but our favorite restaurant by far is the Greenbrier. Donna is a wonderful person to work with. She answered every question immediately and does a great job making her guests feel welcome and at home.

This is an beautiful cabin in a very scenic area of the Smokey Mountains

The cabin was more than I expected. I have seen pictures of places and then gone to find it a little less than what the pictures show. This place is an exception. The pictures did not do it justice and the owners were incredibly nice and helpful. Any questions I asked were answered immediately, including good trails to see. The trail suggested by the owner allowed us to see a momma bear and three cubs. I would choose this place to stay every time I go to Gatlinburg. Everything was very close to the cabin as well making the place very convenient the entire trip.

Cozy, Mountainy Cabin that Makes You Feel Like You are Nestled In the Trees

This cabin worked perfectly for us. Game area for playing pool, videos, hand held games, board games. The bedrooms were split up perfectly to allow for that little bit of extra privacy everyone needed. Having three decks was very nice, some enjoyed the hot tub, some the star watching while listening for bears and owls and others the porch swings. So no matter your mood or where you were with energy there was a place just for each of us when we wanted it. Our four grandkids loved the game room, especially the pool table. AND YAY! internet bandwidth to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, we didn't need anything that we didn't readily find in the kitchen. We loved the restaurant options to much to cook but if we had wanted to the kitchen and dining room would have provided everything needed to have a very nice evening in. We took in all of the major attractions and most of the minor attractions. Donna went out of her way to provide exceptional information for the area and even coupons for us. Dollywood was a big hit with everyone with the Dixie Stampede running a close second. For those of us who knew and loved the Opryland Park in Nashville, Dollywood brings back some of those great memories. We try to take a vacation once a year that includes our kids and grandkids. This one will go down as one of our favorite family vacations and one we will want to repeat. When we were packing to leave everyone was already saying "we HAVE do this one again". We hope you have as much fun as we did, Best Wishes from the Hancock's. P.S. Donna was absolutely amazing! She was more than on top of everything. She seemed able to sense our needs and address them before we even asked. She was a pleasure to deal with all the way through. She was so efficient we never had the opportunity to speak to anyone else. Just perfect.

Great cabin, great view!

This cabin was the perfect size for us to meet with kids and grands for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The huge table seats ten and was the perfect place for all the board games the kids brought and for family meals. We also enjoyed the cheerful Christmas decorations and the kids loved playing in the huge hot tub. The owner was available to answer all questions quickly and help was sent for the two very minor issues. I highly recommend Bear Feet Cabin! :)

Cozy and quiet but close to everything!

My husband, adult son and I stayed at Bear Feet for part of a week recently. We couldn't be more pleased. From the pool table upstairs, the cute kitchen, the hot tub, to the comfortable beds and porch swing, there was something to give each of us the rest and relaxation we needed. The proximity to all the sights and activities of Gatlinburg including great restaurants makes this the perfect place to stay. The steep drive up the hill to the cabin was only a little scary the first time and then we got used to it. The community is lovely. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool close by but it looked lovely. After a busy day out at the state park or in town ,we were happy to return to the wonderful ambiance of Bear Feet! We will definitely stay here again if we get down that way again. You can't go wrong with this place, and Donna was very helpful all along the way when I had questions. Thanks! Amy Irvin

Great Getaway~

Donna was a wonderful host - on the spot with assistance when needed, provided added value by giving me a heads-up with weather alerts! The cabin is spacious and cozy all at the same time. Hot tub was just what we needed after 8 miles of hiking. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful decks and views. Spotless cabin with everything you need. We went to some great restaurants, but would have been just as happy to hang out on deck the whole day!

Love the bear theme!

The property was a great place to stay. Nice kitchen and loved all the deck space. Great place to have a morning coffee on the covered porch. The downstairs porch is private and quiet as well. Only downside was the lack of communal space on the main floor. The living room is in the basement. We would come back again!

Cozy, comfy, clean and close to Gatlinburg

Can’t say enough about this fabulous cabin. Away from the busy part of Gatlinburg, yet close enough to all the attractions. So many homey and local touches to the decor made the cabin special. Hot tub was spotless and a great way to end a busy day. Clean cabin, with lots of space to spread out. Highly recommend.

Wonderful family vacation!

Our family of 4 and my parents had a wonderful time at Bearfeet! I loved the personal touches of each room, the multiple fireplaces and the flatscreens in every bedroom. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for family dinners and games in the evenings. My kids spent a ton of time in the hot tub and I could comfortably hang out with them while sitting on the soft cushion patio seats while reading on the deck! We also enjoyed playing pool upstairs and the cozy basement for watching DVDs together. For a few questions we had, Donna was easily accessible by text or phone and helped answer our questions quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to come back to Bearfeet for future stays in the Smokies! Thank you, Donna, for such a wonderful vacation!

Great experience at Bear Feet

This cabin was perfect for our family trip to Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains. We loved Bear Feet Cabin and its' wonderful location! It is perfectly situated near downtown Gatlinburg and had easy access to the highway! The cabin was in pristine condition with many amenities! We especially loved the three bedrooms, hot tub, large kitchen table and three wonderful decks and front porch with comfortable furniture. The parking is the BEST in the whole entire community! The bath towels are plush and folded to perfection! Plus many cooking items, outdoor grill and plenty of dishes! Our family chose to do white water rafting (Rafting in the Smokies) and drove to Asheville, NC to see Biltmore Estate. The cabin is located in a great place to easily get to the interstate to take you to these spots! Donna was a huge help when I had questions and suggested some delicious places for our family to eat locally as well! I highly recommend this cabin to others. Understand it is in a cabin community with others close by, but still offers privacy!

Homey and Comfortable

We loved our cabin vacation! Everything we needed was there. The 8 of us had plenty of room and privacy when needed. My 2 teenage granddaughters spent most of their time up in the loft and slept up there. The pool was just around the corner and we were a short drive from Gatlinburg. Donna was wonderful and readily available when needed. It was great being together with family to watch and celebrate our Cleveland Cavaliers' victory! Thank you Tom and Donna for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is beautifully decorated in bear motif down to the smallest details. We had 7 of us (5 of us in the early 20s and then mom and dad) and found that there was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The 3 levels worked well as my husband and I went to bed earlier in the master bedroom downstairs, while the younger ones had fun playing pool in the upstairs loft later in the evening. My husband liked to go to the family room in the lowest level to watch TV in the evening (a mancave thing), while the rest of us tended to congregate around the kitchen/dining room area for video games and cards in the evening. During the day when possible, we would try to spend some time out on the balconies, but we were mostly out sightseeing, so didn't spend as much time out on the many balconies as we wanted to. I think the most balcony time was spent on the lowest level balcony with the hot tub and comfy outdoor furniture- both in the morning and evening. The upper balcony was best for catching some sun and reading on the lounging chairs. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds were all very comfortable, including the 2 futons in the upstairs loft. The main level balcony was a great spot for dining outside as well as playing cards/board games. As far as shopping goes, there is a grocery store very close to the cabin to stock up on groceries and the cabin is only about 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is also situated right in the midst of the arts and crafts community. Driving to the Smoky National Park was only about a 10 minute drive for some hiking. The cabin is in a perfect location! Though there are neighboring cabins, we never felt a lack of privacy (and we are people that like our privacy!) due to all the trees and different levels of each balcony, plus each cabin is uniquely nested into the hillside/mountain. So great place to stay for a great price!! We will be back :)

Great Cabin!

If you want to experience a home away from home then you need to check out this cabin. Donna and Tom were a pleasure to deal with, in fact so much so My wife and I booked this cabin for next year. The owners thought of everything from ease of checking in to the Christmas decorations they really go out of their way to make you feel you were at home the only thing you need to bring is groceries and your clothes oh! and your travel plans. I would give our stay a 5 Star rating. Thanks Tom and Donna for a real cabin living experience.

Perfect getaway!

This was a great getaway for the weekend. An easy drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for all the attractions. Also a bit off the beaten path, so not a lot of traffic. The hot tub was especially great. The kitchen was well equipped and we definitely put the grill to use. The entire place had a very intimate atmosphere. More like staying at a friend's home than a rental cabin. Donna (the owner) was so friendly and more than helpful. She was always available by phone and made sure all our questions were answered. We will definitely be back to Bear Feet!! :-)

Nice place to stay that isn't smack dab in the middle of Gatlinburg but just minutes away. The cabin was nice and we enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool nearby.

Wonderful stay at Bear Feet 3/26/15

We had a great time at Bear Feet cabin. Donna and Thomas do such a good job making sure that you have all the information you need. Everything went exactly as stated in our agreement. I take making reviews honestly very important. I want to be able to trust reviews that I read. the cabin is well taken care of and was extremely clean. Water temps and pressure was great. Fireplaces and central unit worked great. Location was great. Probably a 1/2 mile from a big Food City with everything u need. The beds were Very comfortable. I found nothing negative at all and that is probably the first time ever. You will not be sorry for choosing this cabin for your stay. I look forward to staying again.
